Guide Service
Specializing in Fishing Green Bay Walleyes
Capt. Steve Becker

About Your Captain
I believe taking an analytical approach to fishing puts more fish in the boat. I rely heavily on electronics to locate fish. Some additional tools I use are; keeping a very detailed fishing log, use automapping, side-imaging, down-imaging and figuring out the fishing patterns for the day.
In addition to guiding, I hold open water fishing schools where customers bring their own boats and learn how to maximize the use of their electronics while learning new techniques. Some of the main topics include; How to use Electronics to Catch More Fish, Trolling 101 and Mastering the Snap Jigging Technique.

Fishing Green Bay
Fishing on Green Bay is considered Federal Waters so I am a USCG licensed Captain. Because your safety is my #1 priority, I am certified in First Aid/CPR and carry all required USCG safety equipment.
The Bay of Green Bay consists of 1626 square miles. There are countless reefs, miles of weed lines and massive sand flats to fish. The walleyes on Green Bay are normally caught by jigging, snap jigging, casting or trolling. However, any known technique for catching walleyes will work on Green Bay.
The Fox River from the De Pere dam to the mouth of Green Bay is 7 miles long. It is estimated that over 300,000 walleyes spawn in the Fox around April 1st – 5th each year. The chance to catch a 10# walleye is a real possibility.
Where we fish on the Bay will depend on your interests, the wind direction, active fish locations and technique to be used. My goal is to maximize your fishing experience.
